Pumpkins and spiders and snakes, oh my!
The cauldron bubbles on
Gravekeepers can pump blood, too!
Nobody under the bridge, but there's spiders everywhere!
It's hard work being scary!
Ohmigod, it must be a mistake, she's actually LOOKING at you!
A blanket is not much protection
Watch out for the Demon!
Approach the castle through the misty blackness
Which way to go?
Pretty good for a four year old!
The fog at night, see how the dampness makes the fog pool
This group is brave enough to enter, are you?
Is it their last ride? Maybe it's yours?
Telling tales at the bonfire
It's all about the scares...
Well, that's all we got.
It was a great run, and we thank all of you who ever came and played or came and visited.

Now we're into the clean up stage. That's the not-so-fun part.
Please feel free to come help in between rain storms
I'm hoping we can at least get the inside cleaned up before Christmas...

This spring, we're having a big Halloween garage sale!
We don't know yet if we'll sell the hearse (make an offer?)

In the meantime, keep a piece of the Halloween House in your heart.
Now it's your turn!
Nothing would make us happier than learning we inspired someone else to learn the joy of hearing people scream while doing something good for their community.

We love you all...
Scare Ya Later!

Our first leaf, 1999. Sorry it's fuzzy, cheap camera... It says," 1999 Equip For Your Life, The Halloween House
Our second leaf, 2001. It reads," Halloween House, BOO, Keith & Melanie & David Kirk
Our 2004 leaf reads, " 2004 Halloween House by Keith & Melanie Kirk, Scare Ya Later, Supporting Community Healthcare
We finally got a rock! It means we broke the $20,000 donation mark. It reads," 2005 The Halloween House, Scaring up Healthcare Dollars
So, these are the plaques presented to us through the years by the Hospital Foundation. we started with a small leaf and graduated to bigger ones as the doantions accumulated year by year.
Remember, visitors, these are YOUR contributions! They may have our names on them, but they wouldn't have been possible without your support! On behalf of the Kirks, the Halloween House and the Nanaimo & District Hospital Foundation, THANK YOU!!!
